We have been together for 19 years, since we were 17 & 15 years old we started dating in 1996 and have been inseparable since. Though we have always been polar opposites being that I'm a Capricorn and she's a Cancer and our birthdays are just 1 day from being 6 months apart, she is the artist and I am the musician and our anniversary is on the Summer Solstice, we are constantly learning from each others world views and the structured chaos keeps us grounded and forever young.
We really got into Northern Exposure in the late 90's when A&E channel had their "A&E Daybreaks" and since we both worked 7 days a week at night, this was our daytime television relief in which we instantly fell in love with the show, though we had both seen before when it was still on the air, we were not the ideal demographic as we were in our early teens.

We are not Married and do not have Kids, though we do not shun such ideals, we just choose to live our own lives by our own rules and not by the expectations of society or others, but we do love our dogs which we consider our children.
Northern Exposure to me has always been the perfect form of Escapism, the night I found out my father had passed, I sat in my bar with a headache from crying so hard and watched a few episodes, it was therapeutic in the sense that it helped me calm down and reboot to prepare for the strenuous funeral arrangements I was going to have to make in the coming days. This story is just to convey how significant this T.V. show is to me in my world.
So now that we have tried for years to see Roslyn, WA a.k.a Cicely, AK we finally dropped everything to set forth on the trip of a lifetime to Moosefest 2015 for the 25th anniversary of the show. 4,000 miles and 70+ hours of Driving and sightseeing across this great country of ours over a span of 2 weeks and we hope to meet many like minded Mooseheads like ourselves.
